I beleive Jensen labeled (and painted) identical (or closely identical) speakers differently for different applications (strong marketing department?). What is stamped on the frame...... P15R?Originally Posted by mah

AbG, the frame markings are: LMI1521, C8505, 2207220. The magnet, under the bell cover, is sort of a pudding bowl shape. I believe various models were used for bass, guitar, organ and PA. Mine have a cloth vent/dust cap. Very little on the web. Maybe Bfish has come across them in Hammonds.

Is this number correct? That's one more digit than what I'd expect. 220 is Jensen, but typically date codes are only 3 digits.
